PT-141 Reconstitution Guide

Sexual Health

Dosing Calculator & Syringe Unit Conversion Tables

PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a melanocortin receptor agonist that acts centrally on the nervous system to enhance sexual arousal. Unlike PDE5 inhibitors, it works through neural pathways rather than vascular mechanisms.

The tables below provide pre-calculated syringe draw values (U-100 insulin syringe units) for common research doses of PT-141. Find your vial size, locate your dose row, and read the units for your chosen BAC water volume.

How the Math Works

Concentration (mg/mL) = Vial mg ÷ BAC water mL

Volume to draw (mL) = Dose mg ÷ Concentration

Syringe units (U-100) = Volume mL × 100

Example: 5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 2.5 mg/mL. For a 0.5mg dose: 0.5 ÷ 5.00 = 10.0 units. U-100 means 100 units = 1mL.

PT-141 10mg Vial — Syringe Units by BAC Water Volume

U-100 insulin syringe units (100 units = 1mL) for each research dose and BAC water amount.

Dose (mg)1mL BAC2mL BAC3mL BAC5mL BAC
0.5 mg5 u10 u15 u25 u
1 mg10 u20 u30 u50 u
1.75 mg17.5 u35 u52.5 u87.5 u
2 mg20 u40 u60 u100 u

Concentration at each BAC volume: 1mL → 10.00 mg/mL | 2mL → 5.00 mg/mL | 3mL → 3.33 mg/mL | 5mL → 2.00 mg/mL

Storage After Reconstitution

Refrigerate reconstituted PT-141 immediately (2–8°C / 36–46°F). Use within 30 days when refrigerated. For longer storage, freeze at −20°C; use within 6 months. Keep away from light. Do not refreeze after thawing.
