Melanotan II Reconstitution Guide
TanningDosing Calculator & Syringe Unit Conversion Tables
Melanotan II is a synthetic analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It stimulates melanin production in the skin, producing a tan without UV exposure, while also having effects on libido and appetite.
The tables below provide pre-calculated syringe draw values (U-100 insulin syringe units) for common research doses of Melanotan II. Find your vial size, locate your dose row, and read the units for your chosen BAC water volume.
How the Math Works
Concentration (mg/mL) = Vial mg ÷ BAC water mL
Volume to draw (mL) = Dose mg ÷ Concentration
Syringe units (U-100) = Volume mL × 100
Example: 5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 2.5 mg/mL. For a 0.25mg dose: 0.25 ÷ 5.00 = 5.0 units. U-100 means 100 units = 1mL.
Melanotan II 10mg Vial — Syringe Units by BAC Water Volume
U-100 insulin syringe units (100 units = 1mL) for each research dose and BAC water amount.
| Dose (mg) | 1mL BAC | 2mL BAC | 3mL BAC | 5mL BAC |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.25 mg | 2.5 u | 5 u | 7.5 u | 12.5 u |
| 0.5 mg | 5 u | 10 u | 15 u | 25 u |
| 0.75 mg | 7.5 u | 15 u | 22.5 u | 37.5 u |
| 1 mg | 10 u | 20 u | 30 u | 50 u |
Concentration at each BAC volume: 1mL → 10.00 mg/mL | 2mL → 5.00 mg/mL | 3mL → 3.33 mg/mL | 5mL → 2.00 mg/mL

Storage After Reconstitution
Refrigerate reconstituted Melanotan II immediately (2–8°C / 36–46°F). Use within 30 days when refrigerated. For longer storage, freeze at −20°C; use within 6 months. Keep away from light. Do not refreeze after thawing.
