Overview

GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. It plays a role in wound healing, stimulates collagen synthesis, and has attracted research interest for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging applications.

Mechanism of Action

GHK-Cu upregulates genes involved in collagen and elastin synthesis, promotes angiogenesis, and exerts antioxidant effects by chelating redox-active copper. It also modulates immune signaling and activates tissue remodeling pathways through TGF-ฮฒ and VEGF upregulation.
